The New $200K Tech Jobs
And how to get them
Hello, Hoodies!
These are truly unprecedented times.
Absolutely no one knows how AI will shape this industry and others. All we can do is best prepare ourselves for what’s to come. My goal is to get you a tech job ASAP - because those WITH experience will ALWAYS be more competitive than those WITHOUT experience as AI becomes more powerful and ubiquitous.
NOTE: If you DIDN’T take my advice in 2021, 2022 or 2023 to get a tech job during the digital gold rush, then sorry to say, you missed the boat. Not EVERY boat. But you missed THAT boat. GONE are the days of easy tech jobs. And they’re never coming back.
DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE TWICE! Registration for the AI + Cyber Cohort is open NOW.
10 seats only. 8 seats left.
Don’t get left behind. Register here.
So what are these $200k+ jobs? Let’s dive in.
FIRST: BE AWARE - THIS IS FOR THE BEST OF THE BEST. THAT’S PROBABLY NOT YOU. My goal is to give you a framework that you can follow IF you want to be THE BEST. If I wanted to get into the AI game, this is EXACTLY what I’d do.
SECOND: This isn’t purely speculation. It’s backed by data, job posting requirements, and a mechanism for what enterprise wants in 2026. Furthermore, my new AI engineer confirmed that everything I’m about to tell you is dead on.
This will be a further explanation of what I put in this thread here (click image to view)
First, what is an AI Engineer?
Simply put - they make AI for companies.
Easy in theory. Complex in reality.
WHY??? Doesn’t Claude already do everything?
No.
And that’s the opportunity.
When most people think AI, they think LLM. And that IS the current most common use case for it. But there are levels to the game.
What companies ultimately want is a true copilot.
What’s a copilot?
An application that users can talk to like human beings that can do real work accurately and powerfully.
Let’s give an example.
Companies right now are implementing or have their own LLMs for things like SOPs. You have a question. You want to know where to go or what to do. You ask CompanyGPT and it guides you.
This is cool, but there’s a problem.
YOU still have to go DO THE THING.
What if we could have an AI that KNOWS what to do AND does the thing?
Welcome to the copilot.
So how do we make these?
At the enterprise level, it looks like this:
LLM
RAG
MCP
AUTH
If we assume that someone already authenticated and has their set permissions and tools that they’re allowed to execute on, the diagram would look something like this:
It’s a lot. It’s 12 steps for 1 interaction. And this is STILL overly simplified. That’s what we’re going to break down here.
Combining these 4 technologies, you end up with a force to truly be reckoned with.
Let’s break them down with MS paint like true professionals.
